Our Specialty

Individual Therapy

Our one-on-one therapy sessions provide a space to explore and understand your inner world, process past and present experiences, and build practical coping skills to manage life’s challenges.

We move beyond the traditional 'passive therapist' cliché, adopting a dynamic and collaborative approach. Together, we’ll explore your feelings and core beliefs, offering insights and compassionate challenges to help you grow and navigate even the toughest areas of your journey.

Areas of Expertise

  • Anxiety can feel overwhelming, like a persistent weight that brings restlessness, irritability, and an unrelenting stream of thoughts. We’re here to help you take back control—by calming your mind, supporting your nervous system, and finding strategies to navigate life with greater ease and balance.

  • Trauma, including systemic and childhood trauma, can deeply impact how you see yourself and relate to others, often leaving lasting effects on your sense of safety and self-worth. We are here to support you in processing these experiences, breaking free from their hold, and fostering healing to rebuild trust in yourself and your relationships.

  • Depression can feel like a heavy fog, distorting your thoughts and creating a sense of isolation. At Prospect Park Therapy, we use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based approaches to help you break free from negative thought patterns and reconnect with what brings purpose and meaning to your life.

  • Grieving the loss of a loved one is a deeply challenging experience, and healing can often feel too overwhelming to face alone. Understanding the your emotions and the grieving process can bring comfort and make the pain easier to navigate. We're here to support you as you move through the journey toward healing.

  • Do you often feel inadequate or question your self-worth? At Opus Vitae, we work with you to identify and challenge the negative self-perceptions that may be holding you back. Through compassionate support and evidence-based techniques, we help you rewrite these internal narratives, fostering a stronger, more authentic, and secure sense of self. Together, we’ll empower you to embrace your inherent value and move forward with confidence.

  • Modern dating can feel overwhelming and complicated. Whether things are casual, monogamous, ENM, poly, FWB or a situationship, we’re here to help you explore your attachment style, understand your relationship patterns, and create healthier, more meaningful connections that align with your needs and values.

  • Life transitions are significant periods of change, whether they stem from a single major event or a series of smaller shifts. These changes may be the result of your choices or circumstances beyond your control, and they often bring feelings of uncertainty or anxiety. Therapy can help transform these challenging times into opportunities for growth, allowing you to explore your ideal life and align more closely with your values.

Georgia’s therapeutic approach blends evidence-based modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy-lite (CBT), Schema Therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and trauma-focused interventions.
